Wow, I didn’t realize nearly a whole year would pass before I posted here again! Sorry about that. Like almost every writer out there, my New Year’s resolutions include “keep up with the blogging”…along with “keep churning out the writing!”
At least some good news has brought me out of the woodwork: my new short story, Krung Thep, City of Angels has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming Two Tickets to Paradise anthology, by Dreamspinner Press! It’s a m/m erotic romance inspired by my recent trip to Bangkok, which will keep good company with other travel-themed tales.
The story synopsis:
Krung Thep, City of Angels by Zee Kensington
Marco finds himself in over his head when he chooses Bangkok—Krung Thep to the locals—as his first solo travel destination. Luckily, seasoned travel journalist Chris takes Marco under his wing. Over one whirlwind day, the two Americans realize they have more in common than their homeland. Chris’s role changes from tour guide to mentor as he encourages Marco to embrace his budding identity as a gay man, and their camaraderie blossoms into romance. However, their newly forged connection is threatened by Chris’s career obligations—and unwillingness to change his solitary ways.
It’ll be released in February, so more news as the date nears!
So far 2012 has been off to a great start: a new story published and a move to a new–and better–apartment. What excites me the most about my new home is that I’ll actually have space for a devoted writing room! I can’t wait to set it up so I can start churning out the stories…
